BOM HOLDS FX AUCTION

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the Foreign Exchange Auction held on October 14 the Bank of Mongolia (BoM) received bid offer of USD 36.2 million as closing rate of MNT 1845.51-1849.12 and CNY 134.1 million as closing rate of MNT 301.31-302.0 from local commercial banks. The BoM has sold USD 10.0 million as closing rate of MNT 1848.55 and CNY 10.0 million as closing rate of MNT 301.63. The BoM has received MNT Swap agreement offer in equivalent to USD 30.0 million from local commercial banks and accepted the offer.
