Construction Of Gorontalo Ring Road Completed

Gorontalo, July 10 (Antara) - Construction of a one-kilometer ring road in Molingkapoto Kwandang, North Gorontalo, in the province of Gorontalo, has been completed. The ring road built at a cost of Rp6.8 billion could be put into operation, the head of the regional public works service, Nurhadi Rahim, said here on Wednesday. The ring road is part of a 9-kilometer freeway built in the Molingkapoto office block. According to the plan, the new road which is the only freeway built in 2013 in the region, will be commissioned on August 17 to mark the Indonesian Independence Day commemoration. Construction of the project, announced by North Gorontalo District Head Indra Yasin in April, was completed in thee months as scheduled. The ring road will support economic development in North Gorontalo, Nurhadi said.
