Gazprom Is Seeking To Drill 13 New Oil Wells In Badra Oil Field

Kut / NINA/ The Chairperson of the Committee on Energy in the province of Wasit, Amal al-Ugaili announced that the Russian Oil Gasprom Company, which invested Badra field, is seeking to dig / 13 / new wells, to increase production within the established plan for the development of the mentioned field. She told the reporter of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / That Gazprom Company confirmed that the production of crude oil of the field rose to 45 thousand barrels per day, after it began the actual production in the sixth well field of Badra. She added the new well contributed in increasing daily production by 10 thousand barrels per day (bpd) to 45 thousand barrels after it was 35 thousand barrels per day. She said that the company operates within the specified schedule to reach the peak production of the field and expected to arrive 170 thousand barrels per day by 2017. / End
