IAAC REQUESTS INFORMATION FROM OYU TOLGOI

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Turquoise Hill Resources Ltd. on March 13 announced that Oyu Tolgoi LLC has received an information request from the Independent Authority Against Corruption (IAAC) to provide financial information relating to Oyu Tolgoi. The request relates to an investigation about possible abuse of power by authorized officials during negotiation of the 2009 Oyu Tolgoi Investment Agreement. There is no indication in the ACA information request to suggest that Oyu Tolgoi is a subject of the investigation, says the press release. Kh.Aminaa
