Ideal Jacobs Thailand Relocates To China

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 8 (Bernama) -- Ideal Jacobs Wednesday announced the relocation of production facilities of Ideal Jacobs Corporation Thailand Ltd (IJT) from Thailand to Ideal Jacobs (Xiamen) Corporation in China. In a statement, it attributed the relocation to the flood in Thailand which caused inconvenience among employees. The estimated cost of relocating the production facilities to China is Baht 1,300,000 (RM130,000). Quotation and Purchase Orders from Thailand customers will be channelled to China while sales and distribution functions will be maintained in Thailand to enable IJT to expand its market share. --BERNAMA
