Indonesia, Yemen Discuss Investment Coop
Sana`a, April 4 (Antara) - Indonesian Ambassador to Yemen Wajid Fauzi and Yemen`s Minister of Oil and Minerals Khaled Bahah recently discussed the economic and investment cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting focused on the activation of the cooperation between Yemen and Indonesia , especially the investment in the field of minerals, Yemeni news agency SABA reported.
The minister invited the Indonesian companies to invest in Yemen and to take advantage of the opportunities and benefits offered by Yemen to investors, pointing to the efforts of the State to improve the investment environment and provide facilities to the investing companies.
In turn, the Indonesian ambassador assured the Indonesian companies` desire to invest in Yemen in the field of petroleum and services, noting to the functioning of some Indonesian companies in Yemen.
Fauzi invited Bahah to visit Indonesia to get acquainted with the Indonesian experience in the petroleum industry area and to discuss with the concerned authorities and Indonesian companies the opportunities in this sector as well as the information exchange, SABA reported.
