Industrial output increases

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In the first eight months of this year, the total industrial output increased by MNT 125.0 billion, or 8.8 percent, to MNT 1,544.5 billion (at 2005 constant prices) against the previous year. This increase happened due to 33.5-66.5-percent increases in mining and quarrying products such as copper concentrate, crude oil, gold; and the 0.3 percent to 4.7 times increases in industrial main products of manufacturing sector such as carpets, soft drinks, sausages, bread, steel casting, flour, metal foundries, combed down, vacuum windows and doors, concrete mortar, printing plastic cards.
