Iran Actively Participates In Japan Tourism Exhibition

Beijing, Sept 24, IRNA – Iran’s tourism officials are actively taking part in the ongoing Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA) Tourism and Travel Showcase to introduce the Iranian tourism attractions. Iran’s Ambassador to Tokyo, Reza Nazar-Ahari said while visiting the exhibition that it is a suitable opportunity for introducing Iran’s tourism attractions to the visitors. The exhibition opened in Tokyo International Exhibition Center (Tokyo Big Sight). National and regional tourism organizations such as airlines agencies, tourism agencies and transport companies from 140 countries including Iran are introducing their countries’ tourism attractions in 700 pavilions. JATA Tourism and Travel Showcase organized in support of Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Japan Tourism Agency, and Tokyo Metropolitan Government is a mega event specializing in travel and tourism industry. The annual fair showcases numerous popular and unexplored destinations in a new light. The event is eagerly awaited by the travel and tourism industry and generates massive interest from visitors and exhibitors. By holding the exhibition, the Japanese government tries to introduce the country as tourism destinations to the world, in addition to get the Japanese acquainted with the world’s tourism potentials.
