Japanese ambassador: Iran, Japan to launch bilateral banking activities

Baku, Azerbaijan, Feb. 27 By Elnur Baghishov – Trend: Japan and Iran will launch bilateral banking activities, Mitsuo Saito, Japanese Ambassador to Iran, said at a meeting with Governor of Iran's Central Bank Abdolnaser Hemmati, Trend reports referring to Tasnim News Agency. According to the Japanese ambassador, despite the implementation of sanctions by the US, Japanese companies operating in Iran have continued their activities in the past months. Saito added that Japan continues its economic relations in accordance with national interests. It was decided for an Iranian bank delegation to visit to Japan soon.
