"Kazphosphate" company is the best exporter of ready national products in 2008

Astana, 8 November 2008, (Khabar) - The Ministry for Industry and Trade held the contest and over 70 enterprises took part into it. One more chemical plant was launched in Stepnogorsk after 6 years of stoppage.

Now two enterprises of "Kazphosphate" produce mineral fertilizers and about half a
million tones of fertilizers will be produced here the next year. And this
volume will increase 1,5 times in 2 years. This will satisfy the need of
Kazakhstani agrarians in phosphate fertilizers. The head of the state noted
at October meeting of chemical workers that Kazakhstan can become the
largest in the world supplier of mineral fertilizers. But their share must
be increased also at the national market.

Mukash Iskandirov, general director of "Kazphosphate" company:
- The program of our government elaborates on subsiding for the next year
and this will change the situation and make agricultural producers to be
more interested in using of mineral fertilizers.

Mukash Iskandirov considers this state approach will allow peasants to have
fertile soil and rich harvest and country will get food safety. And plant
workers will preserve their working places and new vacancies will be opened
as well. This year the company produced production for about 40 billion
tenge, it is 2,5 times more than last year. 95% of fertilizers were
exported, about 20 types.

Mukash Iskandirov, general director of "Kazphosphate" company:
- At the beginning of the year we attracted $50 millions of investments. And
now we end budgeting of next year and we plan to increase volume of
production, salary and social program.

"Kazphosphate" company receives awards every year for high quality. And this
year "Kazphosphate" company became the best exporter of ready national
products. It means the company contributes much into development of
Kazakhstani economy.
