KL To Host Social Media Networking Convention Next Month

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 23 (Bernama) -- Asia Pacific Diligence Sdn Bhd will hold the "Social Media Networking Convention 2011" on Dec 9 at the Plenary Hall, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. The convention is aimed at e-commerce businessmen, social media communication professionals and the general public who are interested to know how the social media works. The company said in a statement today that the convention would be made up of two main events. One is an exhibition that promotes networking and business-matching opportunities while the other is a conference covering topics from marketing and branding on social media to latest social media trends. The exhibition involves an array of local and foreign participants including CyberSecurity Malaysia, Groupon, Express Rail Link and Chartis Malaysia Insurance. Among the 12 speakers at the conference, meanwhile, are Pagemodo co-founder Jakob Lykkegaard Pedersen and Timothy Tiah from Nuffnang. -- BERNAMA Malaysia
