Kyrgyz-Chinese business forum takes place in Bishkek

Bishkek, Aug. 15, 2018 /Kabar/. A business forum entitled “Investments and Development of Kyrgyz-Chinese Companies in the Field of Production of Building Materials, Furniture, Electronics and Household Appliances” took place at the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use of the Kyrgyz Republic with the participation of heads of large-scale enterprises of Guangdong Province, China. During the event Chairman of the Committee for Industry Energy and Subsoil Use, Ulanbek Ryskulov noted that Kyrgyzstan is attractive with its investment climate for developing production of building materials, electronics and household appliances. About 300 companies have been involved in the building sector for cooperation with Chinese investors. “A month ago the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use signed an agreement with China Building Materials Industry Association. Within the agreement we discussed matters of creating an international center in Kyrgyzstan, where building industry enterprises, companies that produce household and electric appliances would be represented,” Ryskulov told. The event participants from both sides made presentations about their companies’ activity, and shared their views on developing further cooperation. Guangdong Province ranks first in economy, and the total volume of Guangdong’s economy takes up 1/9 of the total amount of the People’s Republic of China. In 2015 GDP of Guangzhou - the main country in Guangdong Province amounted to $ 524 billion. Industry of building and finishing materials is one of the main sectors of the province. Eight out of nine of well-known all-China brands of ceramics are located in Guangdong.
