Mongolia produces electricity of 360 thousand kWh in April

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A total of 19 Mongolian firms produced in this April electricity of 360.1 thousand kWh or 96.3% of planned, says an officer from the Energy Ministry. An overwhelming part of the electricity was produced by energy companies of the central region of the country, and 74% of it was produced by traditional sources, the remaining 26% by non-traditional sources. For renewable energy sources, hydroelectric plants at Dorgon, Taishir and Bogd rivers outperformed what they had planned in April, while performance of the Salkhit wind farm stood at 65% of the planned, meaning no significant changes occurred in performances compared to previous months.
