More Foreign Tourists Visiting Bali

Denpasar, Feb 24 (Antara) - The number of foreign visitors to Bali rose 20.06 percent to 279,671 in January 2014 from the same period in 2013. "Almost 95 percent of the foreign visitors are holiday makers," tourism observer Dewa Nyoman Putra said here on Monday, quoting figure from the Bali tourism office. The remaining 5 percent were business visitors mostly operating in handcraft trade, and students and people making social visits. Most visitors to Bali said they were interested in the natural beauty of Bali and Bali cultural arts, he said.
