MyCEB Leads 27 Malaysian Industry Partners To AIME 2012

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 23 (Bernama) -- The Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) led 27 Malaysian industry partners to the just concluded 20th Asia Pacific Incentives & Meeting Expo (AIME) held in Melbourne. The higher number of participants at this year's event (Feb 21-22) gave further networking opportunities for the AIME attendees, a statement from MyCEB said on Thursday. This year, the Malaysian Pavilion comprising two booths also featured new designs inspired by the Malaysian culture as well as its rich flora and fauna. Besides giving attendees a taste of the Malaysian hospitality and highlighting the cultural diversity of the country, with activities including rattan weaving, Chinese calligraphy, the making of Indian flower garlands, and crafting of beaded slippers, the offering of other industry partners were also showcased at the event. These participants included state tourism bureaus such as Langkawi Development Authority, Penang Global Tourism and Tourism Melaka which exhibited their respective attractions and incentives for international events. --BERNAMA
