NAT’L CONSUMER PRICE IN INCREASES

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ This May, the national consumer price index rose 1.5% from the previous month, 6.2% percent against the beginning of the year, and 13.7% over the same period of 2013. The increase was mainly due to increases of 2.8% in food and non-alcoholic beverages, of 2.6% in hotels and restaurants, of 1.6% in clothing, footwear and cloth and of 1.5% in miscellaneous goods and services.
