NAT'L CONSUMER PRICE INDEX IN STATISTICS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The national consumer price index in February 2012, increased by 2.5 per cent compared to the previous month. It also increased by 5.4 per cent against the beginning of the year, and by 12.4 per cent compared to same period of the previous year. The increase in national index compared to the previous month was mainly due to 7.2 per cent increase in food and non-alcoholic beverages. B.Khuder
