Noodle course for jobless people
NONTHABURI, July 12 (TNA) – The Commerce Ministry has launched a noodle making course for jobless people as part of its campaign to create jobs for the poor, who registered for the government’s welfare.
The ministry’s Department of Business Development offers the first noodle making courses for 150 people, who want to open noodle shops, said Deputy Commerce Minister Sontirat Sontijirawong.
They will also learn about management techniques during the training, which will be arranged in Bangkok and other provinces later.
The department plans to offer more cooking courses such as la carte menus and Thai desserts, so those, who undergo the training, will be able to join the ministry’s “Noo Nid Pa Shim” campaign, supporting food vendors to sell clean and good food at affordable prices.
Those successful restaurants or ready-to-eat shops will be able to expand their businesses into a franchise network in the future, said the deputy commerce minister. (TNA)
