North Sulawesi Exports 3,000 Tons Of CCO To U.S.

Manado, N Sulawesi, May 12 (Antara) - North Sulawesi Province exported 3,000 tons of crude coconut oil (CCO) to the United States in April 2014, a trade official said. "The value of the CCO export was recorded at 3,480 million US dollars," Chief of the External Trade Section of North Sulawesi`s Trade Service, T Hasudungan Siregar said here on Monday. He said that the United States consumers liked North Sulawesi`s CCO products and their demand for the commodity continued to increase every month. The trade official said that the markets of North Sulawesi`s CCO included countries in Asia, Europe, the United States and Africa. "North Sulawesi`s CCO commodity controls the world market because its quality is good and liked by consumers," he added.
