Official: Iran Has Signed 250 Agreements With LatAm States

Bushehr, May 7, IRNA - - Foreign Ministry Director General for Latin American Affairs Kambiz Jalali said on Sunday Iran has signed 250 agreements with Latin American Countries during President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s two terms in office. He made the remarks in a meeting with members of Bushehr province economic working group in the southern port city of Bushehr. Jalali said the agreements were all aimed at expanding Iran's ties with the Latin American countries in the fields of trade as well as technical and engineering services. He said ties with Latin American countries are growing and suitable grounds have been prepared for the two sides' private sectors to enhance their activities and cooperation./end
