Pusri Preparing Over 117 Thousand Fertilizer Stocks

Palembang, S Sumatra, April 8 (Antara) - The urea fertilizer stocks of state-owned fertilizer producer PT Pupuk Sriwijaya (Pusri) Palembang at the farmers and factory levels in various regions reached 117,372 tons, a manager of the company said. "In the face of the second planting season (April-September) now Pursri has prepared 77,193 tons of fertilizers at the district level and 40,179 tons at the factory level," Public Relations Manager of PT Pupuk Sriwija Sulfa Ganie said here on Tuesday. The volumes of the urea fertilizer stocks are prepared to meet farmers need in nine provinces which fall under the auspices of Pusri. These provinces covered the provinces of South Sumatra, Lampung, Jambi, Bengkulu, Bangka Belitung, Central Java, Banten, Jakarta, and Yogyakarta, he said.
