SCB and SRT digitalize Chatuchak market
Bangkok, Aug 25 (TNA) – Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) together with the State Railway of Thailand (SRT) launch application software for the Chatuchak market to make it a shopping landmark of Asia.
SCB president Arthid Nanthawithaya said the Products of Chatuchak project added the digital aspect to the Chatuchak market and digital ventures, fintech companies and financial innovators spent 97 million baht on developing application software and a digital platform for the market.
The MERCHANT m POS application was developed to facilitate the businesses of 1,000 shops. Its features include stock management, daily sale reports and the PromptPay payment.
The Chatuchak Guide application was created to help visitors find shops easily and receive real-time promotions. The application functions in Thai, English and Chinese languages and will be fully launched in November.
