Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Four stock trades were held at Mongolia's Stock Exchange on December 26-30. In overall, 647.5 thousand shares were sold of 71 joint-stock companies totaling MNT 527.6 million. Index TOP-20 was 21687.57 points increasing 1436.24 units or 7.1% against the week earlier. The total market capitalization was set at MNT two trillion 168.6 billion increasing MNT 153.5 billion or 7.6%. Shares of "USIB" /74.8%/, "Agroteh" /50.4%/, and "Chatsargana" /45.9%/ increased, but shares of "Avto impex" /24.1%/, "Guril tejeel bulgan" /15.0%/, and "Mongol shevro" /15.0%/ decreased. 46 stocks closed higher, 17 shares declined and eight shares remained unchanged. Shares of "Remikon" /168.4 thousand units/, "Olloo" /167.1 thousand units/ and "Hermes Center" /161.9 thousand units/ were the most actively traded in terms of trading volume and in terms of trading value--"Tavantolgoi" (MNT 148.0 million), "APU" (MNT 62.3 million), and "Mogoin gol" (48.9 million).
