Swarangan Seaport To Be Operational Next Year

Pelaihari, S Kalimantan, Aug 7 (Antara) - The Swarangan seaport now under construction in the regency of Tanah Laut, South Kalimantan, is expected to be operational in 2015, the district communications and informatics office said. Head of the communications and informatics office HM Rahmadi said land clearing and feasibility study of the project have been wrapped up. The port will contribute greatly to the economic development of the district as well as the province of South Kalimantan, Rahmadi said here on Friday. "There are many business activities that could be developed by the local people around the port area," he said.
