Syrian Exclusive Exhibit Opens In Tehran

Tehran, April 28, IRNA – The first exclusive exhibition of Syrian products opened here Saturday in the presence of Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mehdi Ghazanfari and visiting Syrian Economy and Trade Minister Mohammad Nidal Al-Shaar. Representatives from 260 Syrian companies will showcase their products during the five-day event in Tehran permanent International fairgrounds. The exhibition is aimed at introducing potentials of Syrian companies to the Iranian side and developing mutual trade and economic relations. More than 60 percent of the Syrian companies and producers attending the exhibition offer textile and clothing products. During the latest Syria-Iran High Commission session, the two sides decided to boost their mutual trade transactions to $5 billion. At present, the value of Teheran-Damascus trade transactions stand at $600 million./end
