In Charge Of Managing CAA To QNA: Promising Cooperation Opportunities Between Qatar, Kyrgyzstan In All Fields

Doha, June 07 (QNA) - In charge of managing Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Mohamed Faleh Al hajri stressed that the visit of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to the Kyrgyz Republic in the framework of His Highness’s visits to various central Asian countries would contribute to promoting trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, especially in light of the increased interest of Central Asian countries. In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), he said that HH the Amir’s visit comes at a time when there is a growing interest from world countries in strengthening their ties with central Asian countries, indicating that there are promising opportunities to promote the economic, trade, and investment exchange between Qatar and the Kyrgyz Republic He noted the cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of civil aviation, which is characterized by the mutual air service agreement, signed in Doha in February 2017, along with other several and memoranda of understanding. The mutual air service agreement allows Airlines to operate any number of flights without restrictions, which contributes to enhancing trade, economic, and investment cooperation, he added. In charge of managing CAA stressed that central Asian countries are essential to the national airline, Qatar Airways, saying that the authority has medium and long-term plans to operate more direct flights to central Asian countries, including the Kyrgyz Republic, given its distinguished geographical location, similarly to the existing direct flights between Doha and Almaty in Kazakhstan, and Doha and Tbilisi in Georgia.
