Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Sends Verbal Message to President of Zambia

Lusaka, August 23, 2023, SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has sent a verbal message to the Zambian President, Hakainde Hichilema, pertaining to bilateral relations and ways to enhance them.
Royal Court Advisor Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan, on an official visit to Zambia, conveyed the message Tuesday during his meeting with President Hichilema at the presidential headquarters in the capital, Lusaka.
During the meeting, Qattan also conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the president, the government, and the people of the Republic of Zambia.
In response, President Hichilema sent his regards and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, HRH the Crown Prince, and the government and people of the Kingdom.
Additionally, both sides addressed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them across various sectors. They also reviewed the broader regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The Zambian President expressed his country's welcome to the Kingdom’s hosting of the "First Saudi-African Summit" and the "Fifth Arab-African Summit" this year.
Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Zambia Ali bin Saad Al-Qahtani attended the meeting.
