Director General of Ports: Iraq, Through The Development Road And The Port Of Faw, Will Be The Strongest Link Between East And West

Basra / NINA / -The Director General of the General Company for Iraqi Ports, Eng. Farhan Al-Fartousi, confirmed that the company has an active participation in the Development Road Conference held by the Ministry of Transport under the auspices of the Prime Minister, Eng. Muhammad Al-Sudani, with the participation of ten countries and a large number of international companies.

 He said, "This conference is a step in the right direction for the sustainable development of the country, as it opens investment opportunities for international companies to enter the Iraqi market."

He indicated that "Iraq, through the development road and the great port of Faw, will be the strongest link between East and West," indicating that "such strategic projects are the ones that support the country's economy and provide thousands of job opportunities for the Iraqi workforce."

 It is noteworthy that Baghdad hosted today, Saturday, the Development Road Conference, which is being held by the Ministry of Transport under the auspices of the Prime Minister, Eng. Muhammad Al-Sudani, and in the presence of representatives of ten countries and many international companies./ End
