Director-General of Qatar News Agency Meets Director-General of Anadolu Agency

Istanbul, July 08 (QNA) - HE Director-General of Qatar News Agency (QNA) Ahmed bin Saeed Al Rumaihi met in Istanbul with HE Director-General, Chairman of the Board of Anadolu Agency Serdar Karagoz.
HE Ahmed bin Saeed Al Rumaihi stressed the importance of upgrading cooperation ties between QNA and Anadolu Agency in view of the distinguished relations between the two country's leaderships.
Al Rumaihi pointed to the new media and the rapid evolution it witnesses, especially with respect to social media platforms and Artificial Intelligence (AI) which precipitate the utilization of this evolution to provide advanced news services that promote roles of news agencies and offer superior services to media institutions and various segments of communities.
For his part, Serdar Karagoz welcomed QNA's Director-General, hoping that the visit would lead to further cooperation between the two agencies.
The two sides discussed ways to bolster cooperation ties between the two agencies.
Following the meeting, HE Director-General of QNA and Director-General of Anadolu Agency signed a cooperation agreement between the two sides which includes news sharing and boosting cooperation in various fields, such as training staff in the two agencies, in addition to taking advantage of the new media to upgrade news services offered by the two agencies.
