Egyptian Social Solidarity Minister receives Ambassador to Cairo

Cairo, July 11 (BNA): Dr. Nevin Al Kabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity of Egypt, received Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, Bahraini Ambassador-Designate to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation and exchange of expertise in social protection programmes and economic empowerment in both countries.

Al Kabbaj congratulated Zainal on her appointment as ambassador to Egypt, wishing her success in performing her duties, and further development for the bilateral relations.

The ambassador reviewed Bahrain’s efforts in economic empowerment and supporting programs and the social protection network that it provided for Bahraini citizens, in light of the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Zainal praised the programs and services provided by Egypt to various sections of the society in social protection and economic empowerment, and its leadership’s keenness to extend social security.
