‘LET’S START WITH OURSELVES’ POSTERS EXHIBITION OPENS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ ‘Let’s start with ourselves’ posters exhibition opened on March 30 at the Shangri-La Mall, Ulaanbaatar, co-organized by the ‘Environment and city’ team under the Leaders Advancing Democracy (LEAD) U.S Exchange 2017 program, We are Mongolian Content NGO and Mongolian Marketing Association NGO. “Each day we criticize the urban-based environmental issues and how much it affects our health and economy. However we do not raise unified voice against it. As the environmental issues are too scientific and voices of few professionals cannot reach the public we, the citizens and young people of Ulaanbaatar, started this project to raise our voice in a creative way” said the organizers of the exhibition. In order to reasonably reflect the environmental issues of today’s Ulaanbaatar on poster, the artists and designers interviewed the specialists of all sectors and got proper information on air, water, soil pollution and green lifestyle. The organizers also emphasized that the concept of the ‘Let’s start with ourselves’ project is provoked by that how small and selfish actions of each individual contradicts a settled way of life, become the cause of our stress and pollute the environment. "First of all, we demonstrate countless issues in creative way, raising our voices on that matter. Then we want to call out Ulaanbaatar citizens to change their attitude, correct even the smallest errors, make positive contributions and go green." The exhibition will run until April 5. B.Misheel
