Bee’ah takes home waste management contract for Dubai’s World Trade Centre

SHARJAH, 17th February, 2016 (WAM) -- Bee’ah, the Middle East’s leading award-winning fully integrated environment and waste management company, will be the sole provider of integrated recycling and waste management logistics for Dubai’s renowned World Trade Centre, in line with the company’s plans to provide unmatched environmental services to the emirates.
The newly introduced scheme will see Bee’ah applying top-notch dynamic waste management operations to one of the world’s most famous business and exhibition centres, crystallising the company’s wide-range expansion plan to neighbouring emirates.
Bee’ah will put into action a dynamic waste management plan that will execute integrated operations specifically designed to suit every exhibition’s needs, this will feature the dispatch of different vehicles, tailored to the necessities of each event taking place at the centre.
Commenting on the development, Khaled AL-Huraimel, Group CEO of Bee’ah, said, "We are pleased to announce that we have been selected to serve one of Dubai’s monumental complexes, the World Trade Centre, which will help us showcase our innovative and state-of-the-art environmental solutions.
The new deal fits in the company’s regional expansion plan, and will consolidate our efforts to truly uplift the environmental footprint of our beloved country.
He added, "This contract is a testament to our rapidly expanding client portfolio, and a true reflection of the company’s effectiveness and environmental efficiency in providing integrated waste management and holistic environmental services."
In accordance with the contract, Bee’ah will introduce sustainable waste handling methods, environmental services, and an advanced smart fleet - including GPS-mapped trucks, mechanical sweepers, Combi-Wash vehicles, and cleansers, which will be tracked for greater efficiency. This will also feature the company’s tri-bins, cages for cardboard and paper waste, and skips, among many other products.
On top of that, Bee’ah provides workshops on source segregation to encourage the ultimate recycling efforts by the complex’s staff and residents. Bee’ah will organise lectures and workshops to educate the centre’s staff and residents on green practices while continuing to provide ongoing environmental consulting on sustainable practices to exhibitions’ administrations, giving insightful information on how to go green.
The World Trade Centre is a world-class business complex comprising of a tower, eight exhibition halls, the Dubai International Convention Centre and residential apartments.
