Iran-Azerbaijan To Expand Co-op In Field Of Environment Protection

Baku, Nov 28, IRNA – Iran's Ambassador to Baku Mohsen Pakaeen and Azerbaijani Ecology and Natural Resources Minister Huseyngulu Bagirov here on Tuesday explored ways of expanding mutual cooperation in the field of environment protection. Pakaeen said Iran and Azerbaijan attached high importance to protection and safeguarding environment, especially in the Caspian Sea and that expansion of mutual cooperation in the field will have positive impact on bilateral ties. Bagirov, for his part, said his country is ready for expansion of cooperation in the area of environment protection and related sector./end
