Moderate Earthquake Hits Southeast Of Honshu Japan

KUALA LUMPUR, July 28 (Bernama) -- A moderate earthquake measuring 5.3 on Richter scale occurred in Southeast of Honshu, Japan at 07.58 am Friday. The Malaysian Meteorological Department in a statement said the quake's epicenter was 734km Southeast of Yokosuka, Japan, and 3717km Northeast of Sandakan, Sabah.
