PROJECT TO HELP HOMELESS PEOPLE IMPROVE THEIR LIVELIHOOD

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Inauguration of the ‘Eco production’ project took place on October 5 in the Social Protection Center at the Ulaanbaatar Mayor’s Office. Deputy Mayor of Ulaanbaatar in charge of poverty reduction and employment affairs D.Enkhtur appreciated a launch of the project, which aims to support employment of target group and increase their income by producing environmentally-friendly goods made of sheep wool. He expressed gratitude to the Government of Canada for contributing to Mongolian development in realizing the project under the cooperation between the countries. In frames of ‘Eco production’ project, the center will produce slippers, sandals, socks, bags and a variety of taxidermies of the five major kinds of livestock.
