Foreign Minister meets Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism

Washington, July 21 (BNA): Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Foreign Affairs Minister, met here today Ambassador Deborah Lipstadt, the Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism at the US Department of State.

They discussed areas of cooperation between the two countries in the field of promoting the values of tolerance and human coexistence among various religions, beliefs and cultures, confronting the ideology of fanaticism, extremism and hatred, spreading the culture of dialogue, pluralism and fraternity, as well as backing efforts aimed at spreading peace and security and ending conflicts in the region.

Prospects for enhancing regional cooperation to achieve peace, stability and prosperity for the benefit of all the peoples of the region, in addition to issues of common concern, were also discussed.
