Four Awards For The Iraqi Football At Abu Dhabi Ceremony

Baghdad / NINA /- The Iraqi Football Association won the award for the best Arab Gulf federation at the (Sky News) channels awards ceremony, which was held yesterday evening, Sunday, in the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi.

 

The president of the Iraqi Football Association, Adnan Darjal, received the award after the national team won the 25th Gulf Cup, which was held in Basra last January, and the impressive success in organizing the 25th Gulf Cup, which was held in Basra.

 

At the ceremony, the national team striker, Ayman Hussein, was crowned the best striker in the Gulf 25, and the goalkeeper of our team, Jalal Hassan, was crowned the best goalkeeper in the Gulf for his distinguished role in winning the title of the Gulf 25 for the Lions of Mesopotamia.

 

The Iraqi national team won the Gulf Cup title for the fourth time in its history in the 25th edition, preceded by three titles in 1979 in Baghdad, 1984 in Muscat and 1988 in Riyadh. / End
