‘ANTI–DIABETES’ PROJECT LAUNCHES

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The launch of a project ‘Help today, change tomorrow / Anti-Diabetes’ took place today in the State Central Third Hospital with an aim to prevent citizens from diabetes. Within the framework of the project Diabetes Center of the Hospital intends to serve all citizens of the capital city, measuring blood glucose level with an expeditious method and offering monitoring card containing diabetes information to diabetic patients to control oneself including diabetes information. Moreover a database and favorable environment will be created to conduct trainings on diabetes prevention and to make glucose tolerance test which defines diabetes and pre-requisite. Financed by JCI UB Central and other sponsors, the project will be realized in 2018-2019. Physicians from the Diabetes Center and teachers from Internal Secretion Department of the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences will co-work on the project. B.Batchimeg
