“Student Soldier” program to involve 1000 students this year

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ According to a Government’s resolution, “Student Soldier” program has been successfully carried-out for the last 3 years. During this period, a total of 2390 students of Mongolian higher educational universities undertook the military training program. This year, 1000 students will be participating in the training according to an ordinance of the Minister of Defense. With the help of the Student Soldier program, young people are provided with opportunities to serve in the military, which makes a great significance of enlarging the military reserve force of Mongolia. Moreover, by taking an intensified military course with the program, the students will develop an ability to overcome physical and mental challenges.
