Abylgaziev meets with members of Japan’s Parliament Gen Nakatani and Asahiko Mihara

Bishkek, Sept. 07, 2018. /Kabar/. Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkaliy Abylgaziev met with member of the House of Representatives of Japan, leader of Japan-Kyrgyzstan Friendship League Gen Nakatani and member of the House of Representatives of Japan’s Parliament and the Friendship League Asahiko Mihara.
The members of the Parliament of Japan thanked the Kyrgyz Prime Minister for the opportunity to meet, and told about the outcomes of the first Kyrgyz-Japanese inter-parliamentary forum that took place yesterday in Bishkek, the press service of the Kyrgyz Government reported.
“We are very pleased with the results of the inter-parliamentary forum that has been held. At the end of the forum an agreement on enhancing the relations between the parliaments of the two countries, primarily, in the sphere of attracting investment for developing business contacts, was reached”, Gen Nakatani said.
During the meeting the members of the Parliament of Japan shared their positive impressions about the Third World Nomad Games, the Kyrchyn ethno-village, taking note of the high organizational level of the event and the beauty of the local nature.
Abylgaziev noted with satisfaction the fruitfulness of the first Kyrgyz-Japanese inter-parliamentary forum, stressing that the republic attaches special importance to the relations with Japan and highly appreciates the support and help it provides.
The head of government also expressed condolences upon the recent earthquake in Japan, which resulted in fatalities.
During the meeting the matters of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Japan in the spheres of developing infrastructure, tourism, and production of ecologically clean agricultural products, as well as in the field of preventing emergency situations were discussed.
The sides noted the importance of intensifying contacts between representatives of business circles of the two countries for implementing specific joint projects in the spheres of mutual interest.
