ACHIEVEMENTS OF MONGOLIAN PEACEKEEPERS TO BE IMMORTALIZED AT MUSEUM

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Mongolian Military Museum has got new exhibits showing achievements of Mongolian peacekeepers, their missions and honors. The museum had the exhibits with support from the US Embassy in Mongolia with a purpose to promote merit of the peacekeepers to the public. In order to enrich the museum, it is open for peacekeepers, observers, chiefs of staff and officers, who served in the UN peacekeeping operations, to add their items to the museum’s collection. The museum’s administrative officials said that they would be happy to receive historical documents, photographs and souvenirs from peacekeepers. As of today, 15 thousand peacekeepers of the Mongolian Armed Force have participated in the UN peacekeeping operations abroad since the first service 15 years ago. E.Altanzul
