ASDP Provides Breast-Feeding Rooms In Ferries

Merak, Banten, July 18 (Antara) - The Merak office of Inland Waterway Transport Service (ASDP) will provide breast-feeding rooms to give sense of safety for mothers who have children of under three years in ferry services before Idul Fitr 2013 festivity. "By providing the breast-feeding rooms, mothers will feel comfortable while breastfeeding their babies," the commercial manager of ASDP Indonesia Ferry, Nana Sutisna said here on Thursday. According to him, the breast-feeding rooms measuring 3x4 square meters each and located near ticket counters. The breast-feeding rooms are equipped with seats, beds and toilets, he said, adding that ASDP also provides powdered milk for free. "It will be the second year ASDP prepare breast-feeding rooms in ferries," he said, adding that the breast-feeding rooms were provided in effort to give best services to passengers. In addition, ASDP also make special lane for disabled passengers, he added.
