Bahrain’s landmark strides hailed

Manama, Feb. 13 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee congratulated on the 17th anniversary of the National Action Charter (NAC). He extended congratulations to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier and to the people of Bahrain. He paid tribute to HM the King who launched the milestone which represented a quantum leap forward, placing the Kingdom of Bahrain among longstanding democracies. He described the endorsement of the charter by a sweeping majority as epitomising the unity between the leadership and the people of Bahrain, stressing the importance of the milestone which bolstered the state of institutions, rule of the law, democracy, social, political and economic justice. "The National Action Charter ushered in a new era of positive change in all fields, supported by HM the King", he said, hailing Bahrain’s development strides and landmark achievements which represent a model to emulate.
