Bahrain-Asian cooperation stressed

Manama, Jan.29 (BNA) – Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mullah stressed Bahrain’s keenness on strengthening cooperation with Asian states in all fields.  He underscored the importance of benefiting from historical relations and cooperation in light of economic challenges confronting countries in the region. He commended the role played by Bahrain’s embassies in Asian countries in expanding cooperation in all sectors and promoting the Kingdom’s protential and streamlined legislations to attract investments and projects.  He made the statement as he received newly-appointed Ambassador to Indonesia Dr. Mohammed Ghassan Shikhoo, who presented a copy of his PhD thesis titled Informal Economy Dynamics and Governance Challenges.
