Bahrain condemns terror attack in Saudi Arabia

Manama, July 31 (BNA): Bahrain has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that took place in Al Qatif, Saudi Arabia, which resulted in the death of a security man and the injury of others. "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its sincere condolences to the family of the martyr and wishes a speedy recovery to those injured as a result of this heinous terrorist act," the ministry said in a statement. "It stresses that the Kingdom of Bahrain stands by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in its fight against all forms of terrorism, its supporters and funders." The ministry extended its full support for all the measures taken to maintain security as well as for all efforts to promote regional and international peace and stability. "The Kingdom of Bahrain reiterates its stance against violence, extremism and terrorism and calls for the need to maintain close international cooperation and concerted efforts to root them out."
