Bahraini-Russian health cooperation discussed

Manama, Dec. 3 (BNA): Health Minister Faeqa bint Saeed Al Saleh received a Russian parliamentary delegation led MP Butachev Russel Borisovich and stressed keenness on broadening health cooperation. The minister emphasised the need for expanding Bahraini-Russian cooperation under the solid bilateral relations and memorandums of understanding singed in various fields. The Russian delegation expressed appreciation of Bahrain’s initiatives to expand cooperation, wishing Bahrain more progress and wellbeing. Boosting cooperation and the exchange of medical and therapeutic expertise were also discussed. The Health Undersecretary gave an overview of the main features of health system in Bahrain, services provided by health and medical centers and the health insurance scheme to be implemented in the next few years.
