Bahraini-UAE longstanding ties hailed

Manama, Feb. 12 (BNA): UAE Ambassador Abdul Redha Abdulla Khoury hosted a dinner banquet, this evening at his residence, in honour of Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mullah and Bahraini students who graduated from Emirati universities. He welcomed the attendees, commending the officials who graduated from UAE universities for their contribution to Bahrain’s development and progress, led by His Majesty the King and the wise Government. He also commended their efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries. The ambassador lauded longstanding historic relations, based on fraternity and common interests, hailing steadily-growing ties. He hailed Bahrain’s leadership, people, openness, tolerance and civilizational and cultural heritage. "Bahrain is strong despite all the challenges it is facing", he said hailing the people of Bahrain for their awareness, political maturity and allegiance to the wise leadership. The ambassador thanked the attendees for accepting the invitation, wishing them health and happiness and the Kingdom of Bahrain security and stability. He praised the role of the Bahraini press in reflecting an honourable image of the Kingdom and developing joint ties between the two countries.
