The unified Family Law tops the legislations ratified by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa thanks to the efforts of the Supreme Council of Women in coordination with the Executive branch and through community partnership, said Ammar Awaji, the moderator the seminar themed (Family Law and its economic impact on Bahraini women), organized by Bahrain My Colours. The seminar attracted the participation of a large number of women activists, entrepreneurs, lawyers, journalists, teachers, intellectuals and others to discuss ways of boosting the role of women in the Near East and making Bahraini women the focal point of economic development. The participants also discussed the role of Bahraini women in the kingdom’s economic growth to ensure their free option to choose their profession and contribute their fair share in the labour market.
