BCCI to receive voters requests

Manama, Feb. 6 (BNA): Chairperson of the elections committee for the 29th session for the board of directors of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Jassim Hassan Abdul'aal said that the committee will start receiving voters’ applications for data amendment from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on February 11-20, in the chamber’s main building. He added that "according to Article (51) for the year 2013 of BCCI’s by-law, BCCI members whose names did not appear in the voters’ list or whose data are incorrect, can appeal to the committee by applying for insertion or data amendment." He also said that the voters’ list as well as the application form for data amendment will be made available on the chamber’s official website. He affirmed that voters who apply to have their names inserted or their data amended will be notified of the committee’s decision via phone, telefax or e-mail one day after receiving their application.
