BNA concludes course on writing press releases

Manama, Feb. 8 (BNA): Bahrain News Agency (BNA)'s Media Skills Development Centre today concluded a training course titled (The art of writing press releases). A BNA editor-in-chief, Hind Karam, addressed the two-day course that attracted employees from ministries and government institutions. Karam introduced means of writing press releases and steps required to produce professional press reports, in addition to elements of writing good press report, learning how to differentiate between various types of reports, such as news, investigation and discussion, as well as employing press releases in media and public and international relations managements of government and private bodies. The training course was held in line with the Information Affairs Ministry’s plan to develop national cadre’s capacities in the same field.
